Telugu film won Indian Panorama 2019 Award

 Telugu film F2 is the Most fun and Entertainer in the year 2018.  It was a huge blockbuster even at the box office with colleceting 82 crore share.
Recently Ministry of Information and Broadcast today announced that F2 Wins the Indian Panorama 2019 Award.
F2 film is compete with films like Jallikattu, Uri and others. Unlike other languages which have multiple entries, F2 is the only Telugu film to win in this category in 2019.

Pawan Kalyan's Selfie With Sardaar Gang

Pawan Kalyan, who is recently back from Gujarat after a location scouting, is now actively participating in Sardaar Gabbar Singh shoot in Hyderabad, without any major break between the schedules.  Brahmaji, who is a close aide and now a co-star of Pawan Kalyan in Sardaar Gabbar Singh, shared a picture from the location along with Pawan, to the joy of Pawan Kalyan fans.  Interestingly, the selfie was clicked by the star himself. We can recall that the actor in the past was quoted saying he barely uses his phone and do not know anything other the green button (answering call) and the red button (rejecting call). The picture also has comedians Ali and Srinivas Narra, who are also happen to be close associates of Pawan Kalyan.

Kalyan Ram Sher Telugu Movie Review

What's it about?

Coming to the story part, it is all about a guy taking revenge. One day girl captures a moment of a man saving the Indian flag. She enters a contest with this image and wins the prize. The girl (Sonal) who hasn’t seen this man’s face knows that his name is Gautham (Kalyan Ram). The name is tattooed on his hand. She is on the lookout for him and finally she meets him one day. They fall in love. But there is another man who wants her, the local don (Vikramajeet). He strikes a deal with her father. If the don gets the girl, her father gets a higher post in the police department. Gautham on the other hand starts eliminating the local don’s henchmen. Who is Gautham? What’s his role here? Watch Sher to get to that…

Analysis

At a time directors in Tollywood are making movies with bigger ideas, novel storylines, toying with refreshing themes, there are also directors who are stuck in time-warp. They are not able to come out from their template of storytelling which is discovered in late 70's by then directors. Sher is one such example. Director Malli has not only picked up clichéd storyline he also told the movie in run-of-the-mill way which leaves us in boredom.

Kalyan Ram who scored a hit with Pataas earlier this year that was high on entertainment quotient, there seems to be added last minute comedy track to the storyline that has further spoiled the narration. The comedy done by Brahmanandam, Prudhvi and others is also pretty ordinary.

First half of the movie runs on romance between hero and heroine and some comedy scenes. Post the interval too this continues till the last 30 minutes where some interesting sequences happen. The flashback episode that occurs towards the end of the holds some interest but rest of the movie is quite bore.

Kalyan Ram is okay in the role of Gautham but his character is not developed properly. He is shown mostly as a jobless guy. Sonal Chauhan has not improved her acting skills even now. She is a typical glam girl. Rao Ramesh and Rohini are also wasted. Brahmanandam fails to evoke laughs. Ali and Late M S Narayana are also there to serve the comedy part. The villain gang lacks evilness. Ashish Vidyarthi all through the film plays games on Ipad! He is paid remuneration for this, whoa!

Of all the technicians, Thaman has shined with his a song or two. Cinematography by Sarvesh Murari is pretty ordinary too. So are the dialogues by Diamond Rathnam. As a director, Malli has not proven his mettle.

Bottom-line: Sher has clichéd storyline and it is told in most outdated manner.

Telug Director Teja Made Heroine Cry

Directors going to the extra mile of abusing and humiliating actors to extract best performances is nothing new in film industry and our very own director Teja is known for such temperament. Yet another star director joins the list now.

Selvaraghavan (Sri Raghava in Telugu) is co-writing and producing a movie in his wife Geethanjali’s direction. The film is titled Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam and it had senior editor Kola Bhaskar’s son making his acting debut. Also, Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi makes her Tamil debut with this film.

In her latest interview, Wamiqa, who will also make her Telugu film news debut with Sudheer Babu’s Bhale Manchi Roju, narrated her first day shooting experience with Selvaraghavan. Apparently, Wamiqa was struggling with her lines and Selva, after waiting for while, lost his patience and shouted at Wamiqa amidst the entire unit.

Shocked by this, Wamiqa was left in tears and immediately called up her dad and told him that she won’t do the film. Her father, who always believed that Wamiqa was a born actress, criticized her for her low spirit which was when Wamiqa determined to give her best shot for the film.
