Mahesh, who is basking in the glory of back-to-back hits of Dukudu and Businessman, has scaled the ladder from 12th position last year to fifth spot this year. Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is next to mahesh babu in the placing.
Rahul Gandhi dipped from 16th place to 31st and Abhishek Bachchan improved from 37 to 30th spot. Producer Karan Johar is at the bottom taking 49th spot.
New entrant Daggupati Rana is in the 20th place and a notch above is Danush.
Other prominent people in the top 50 list include, Virat Kohli (13th spot), FarhanAkhtar( jumping from 27 to 16) Aamir Khan sliding from 11 to 18, Saif Ali Khan down from 10 to 24alongwith Sidharth Mallya from 31to 36.
New entrant Ritesh Deshmuk was at 39th spot and was ahead of Emraan Hashmi who fell from 32 to 40.
In the female section Karina Kapoor dethroned Katrina Kaif while Priyanka Chopra fell fourth. The survey was conducted by Times group across India in which 3.74lakh participated.
