The original Khiladi of B-town, Akshay Kumar is looking forward to his magnum opus Robot 2.0 featuring Rajinikanth and him playing a villain. A big fan of Rajinikanth’s feats, Akshay says, “Today, the action may seem a bit funny, but at that time, I would be gaping at the screen awestruck, wondering how Rajini sir managed it.”
He gave a nod instantly to the film when director Shankar called him for the same. Being a Rajinikanth fan, he says, “It will be an honour to be punched by Rajini Sir. He’s a wonderful actor and even more, a wonderful human being.”
Expressing his take on the intolerance debate, he snaps, “India has always been known for his intolerance. We’ve always tried to maintain peace but when attacks like the one at Pathankot happen, you realise that the time has come to retaliate.”
All set for the release of Airlift right now; we wish him luck.
