Tara Sonali Miller and Sam Praus’ love story is what modern-day classics are made of. The couple who lives in Portland, Oregon matched on Tinder in 2014 but they both cancelled their first date last minute. The do-over took another three months. “When we resumed our conversations, Tara had moved to Mexico for a year. We joked that I could fly to her for our first date. It would either be terrible or a story we’d tell at our wedding,” laughs Praus who is a filmmaker and finance professional. They finally met when Miller, the co-owner of The Bhakti Yoga Movement Center and co-director of the SOMA School of Yoga and Somatics in Portland, was back home to visit her family.
