In a recent interview, Arjun Kapoor fondly reminisced about spending time with his father on the set of Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, a film that also starred Sridevi and Anil Kapoor.
Recalling the grand scale of the 1992 film, which had a budget of Rs 10 crore, Arjun described it as one of the biggest productions of its time. Despite the massive budget, the film failed at the box office, resulting in significant losses.
Arjun spoke warmly about Sridevi, referring to her as “Sridevi ma’am,” and shared that the film was where he spent a lot of time with his father.
He also mentioned the star-studded cast, which included Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff (whom he lovingly called ‘Jaggu dada’), and Anupam Kher, who played the villain.
Arjun Kapoor recently shared cherished memories from his childhood, particularly his experiences on the set of the 1993 film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, produced by his father, Boney Kapoor. During these visits, he had the opportunity to observe the work of his stepmother, the late Sridevi, whom he respectfully referred to as "Sridevi ma'am."
In an interview, Arjun recalled the grandeur of the film's production, noting its significant budget and star-studded cast, which included Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, and Jackie Shroff. He mentioned that spending time on such an elaborate set deepened his appreciation for cinema and allowed him to bond with his father.
Despite the complexities in their family dynamics, Arjun's reflections highlight his respect for Sridevi's artistry and the formative role these early experiences played in his life.
