Exciting news for Telugu cinema enthusiasts! The iconic sci-fi film "Aditya 369", starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, is set for a grand re-release in 4K 

Directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the Sridevi Movies banner, "Aditya 369" originally premiered in 1991 and is celebrated as India's first science fiction film, introducing audiences to the concept of time travel. ​




The film has undergone meticulous restoration over six months by a digital team at Prasad Laboratories, enhancing its visuals to 4K resolution and upgrading the sound to 5.1 quality. This re-release aims to offer both longtime fans and new viewers an enriched cinematic experience.​


In "Aditya 369," Balakrishna delivers a dual performance, portraying both the modern-day protagonist and the historical figure Sri Krishnadevaraya. The film's innovative storytelling, combined with Ilaiyaraaja's memorable music, has cemented its status as a timeless classic in Telugu cinema.
