The Role of the Geetanjali first supposed to pay Parineeti Chopra, some reasons she missed it.
The role of Geetanjali Singh in Animal was earlier supposed to be played by Parineeti Chopra.
The Sandeep Vanga Reddy directorial was first announced in 2021 with Pari's name attached to it.
However, the actress reportedly walked out of the project as she was doing Imtiaz Ali's Amar Singh Chamkila with Diljit Dosanjh.
According to Bollywood Hungama,
“She has to get into prep immediately for the shoot (of Chamkila), and unfortunately due to this development,
she won’t be able to shoot for Animal as there is a major overlap of dates between the two films.” 😲
However, another report from M9 News claims that Sandeep did not find Parineeti suitable during the trial shoots.
After Rashmika's announcement as the lead, Parineeti told India Today:
"These things happen, it is part and parcel of life. We must make such choices every day. You make the choice that is right for you.” 😳🎬

Animal, which has released this Friday i.e. 1st December, 2023 is a film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandana, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in lead roles.
Before starting the review, we’d just want to give out a general disclaimer to our audience reading the review that the review is completely based on the cinematic fictional experience we have had and it has nothing to do with us not being feminist or believing in equality, because we stand strong against any form of toxicity whether its against male or female.
Now coming to the performances, Animal is a RANBIR KAPOOR SHOW, there’s nothing this man can’t do and to describe his performance in words is just not possible, Anil Kapoor is SUPER STRONG- delivers an impactful performance, Rashmika Mandana struggled in some parts as we have seen in the memes itself but is too good and up to mark in almost every scene barring a few aside, BOBBY DEOL delivers his CAREER BEST PERFORMANCE , though being for a very very brief period of time and Tripti Dimri is just Fantastic, pitch perfect in her performance. The entire supporting cast brings the film together.
Director Sandeep Reddy Wanga knew what he was making and that’s very clear from the first frame itself, the film is 3hr 21 mins long and you still don’t feel the runtime, proves that Wanga did a good job there.
From storytelling to action sequences, from the music (which is more or less the life of the film, leaving Ranbir Kapoor aside) to a beyond perfection post credit scene Animal has it all.
The only problem that pertains like other Wanga’s film is the toxicity and the entire debate of men dominating women in the worse way possible, which would make one not want to watch Animal again for all the right reasons, but as i said in the disclaimer its the fictional liberty, but shouldn’t be glorified at all.
Animal is all set and ready to start a debate on the internet both in a good and a bad way and I guess the makers are well aware about it, but be ready for a box office storm.
We would like to give this film 4 stars.
