The first Grand Slam of the 2017 season begins with the
Australian Open from 16-29 January in Melbourne.
Melbourne crowd is all set watch matches in Rod Laver arena, Margaret Court arena, Hisense arena and outside courts.
Novak Djokovic who is known for his sensational shot making was last year's champion in men's singles. Andy Murray who emerged as the runner up is confident that he will make it to the winner's list this year. In women's singles last year, Angelique Kerber beat Serena Williams and became the champion.
After a scintillating performance in Brisbane, Pliskova definitely has the game to win a Grand Slam.
Aus Open will also have matches in men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, boy's singles, girls singles, boys doubles, girls doubles, men's wheelchair singles, women's wheelchair singles, men's wheelchair doubles, women's wheelchair doubles, men's quad singles and men's quad doubles.
Roger Federer is back to the court and the wait is on to see if he brings back his lost glory.
25th and 26th of January will tell us who bids farewell to their favorite court. The prize money for winners Men's singles and Women's singles in Australian open 2017 is 2.24£m.
